Addis-ababa(CakaaraNews).Prime Minister Meles Zenawi says the African Economic Forum due to be held in Addis Ababa would be an opportunity for Africa to promote its image and sell its abundant investment options to the world. While in Davos, Switzerland for the World Economic Forum, Meles held talks with various personalities including UK Prime Minister, David Cameroon. Although Africa has made remarkable progress over the past decades, its image among the western world has not changed as such, Meles said in an exclusive interview with ERTA. He said the upcoming Addis Ababa Forum would be an opportunity for Africa to promote its abundant investment opportunities to the world. The Forum would enable participating western investors to get first hand information on the continent’s business potential, he said. During his stay in Davos, Meles held discussions with his British counterpart, David Cameroon regarding a conference to be held shortly in London on ways of bringing peace to Somalia.
