Hailemariam holds talks with US Assistant Secretary of State

Addis-Ababa(CakaaraNews).Ethiopia has expressed interest to work closely with USA in the efforts to ensure peace and stability in the horn of Africa, Deputy PM and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hailemariam Dessalegn has said. Hailemariam made the remark on Monday while holding talks with US Assistant Secretary of State, Johnnie Carson. Johnnie Carson said the international community including the US is indebted to Ethiopia for being a key ally in the war on terror in the horn of Africa. He also commended the country’s role in ensuring peace and stability in the region. Similarly, Hailemariam held talks with Moroccan counterpart, Seid Eden on ways of expanding bilateral relations.
