Investors engaged in water, mines, energy in Oromia purchase 16m Birr saving bonds

Adis-Ababa(CakaraNews).Investors engaged in water, mines and energy sectors in Oromia region purchase saving bonds worth 16 million Birr to support financing of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam project. Come March, it is one year since construction of the grand Renaissance Dam began. The public is doing the best it can to help finance the construction of the grand dam as it takes huge sum of money. Now reports from Oromia reveal businesses involved in water and energy sector take further commitment to procure government saving bonds worth 16 million Birr. They already delivered 2 million Birr and gave their word to fulfil the remaining part of their pledge within the coming weeks. The businesses say they are up to do what it takes as the grand renaissance dam represents the pride Ethiopians take on Nile.
