EPRDF Executive Committee to hold regular meeting on Sunday

Addis-ababa(CakaraNews).EPRDF Executive Committee is to hold its regular session on Sunday, 12 February 2012. The Committee is expected to review activities undertaken over the past six months in the urban and rural areas of Oromiya, Amhara, Tigray, South Nations Nationalities and Peoples States as well as Addis Ababa City Administration. It would evaluate works done in rural areas including basin development works and achievements in the organized community mobilization as well as challenges encountered. In connection with rural works, the meeting would review preparations underway for the agriculture work. The Committee is also expected to assess works done to foster suitable atmosphere for development in urban areas including Addis Ababa, especially activities undertaken in land management, trade system reform and small and micro enterprises. In addition, the session is expected to discuss other issues and pass decisions.
