CONGRATULATIONS TO THE NEW PRESIDENT OF SOMALI STATE

Your Excellency, It gives me immense pleasure to extend, on behalf of the North American Youth Association, our warmest congratulations and sincere greetings to Your Excellency, Abdi Maxamuud Cumar as you begin your first tenure as the President of Somali region of Ethiopia.

The elections which have just taken place are another illustration, were one needed, of the exceptional robustness of Somali region democracy.Ethiopia has once again proved its commitment to strengthening democracy. Nothing improves the reputation of a government and its leader more than their returning the power with an increased majority and choosing new presidents for their regions.

Your Excellency, you have been providing leadership to your people in Somali region of Ethiopia in a way that no one has ever done before you, especially during the past five years as the Head of Justice and peace of Somali region. I am sure that with your impeccable credentials you stand in a good position to lead the country on the road towards joining the community of developed nations in ensuring peace, prosperity and justice for all the citizen of Somali region of Ethiopia. Please do continue on your determination of making Somali region more secure and more prosperous region of Ethiopia.

As citizens of Somali region of Ethiopia in North America, we are eager to work with you hand by hand for all the challenges that are head of you. As the President of the Somali Region of Ethiopia, you will certainly have great and difficult tasks before you, but also many opportunities to create change in the lives of those millions who continue to struggle for basic human needs. You must also remember and work for these people, wherever they may be.I wish Your Excellency good health, prosperity in our country and happiness for all of us. Please accept the assurances of our prayers and Allah's blessings upon you and our nation.
