Addis Ababa September 25/2013 President Girma Woldegiorgis said the people-to-people relation between Ethiopia and Republic of Koreas (RoK) has been strengthening from time to time.
While conferring with a Korean delegation led by Dr. Kim Kwan Young here Tuesday, the President described the age-long bilateral ties between the two countries is historical. Lauding the support of KoR to Ethiopia, the President urged the need for enhancing cooperation in all areas.
He called on Korean investors to come to Ethiopia and engage in various sectors using the favorable atmosphere in the country and incentives given by the government, according to a high level official who attend the meeting.
Delegation leader Dr. Young told journalists after the discussion that his country is supporting the Ethiopian government in the activities to resettle people to places suitable for life. He said Korea will further expand the scholarship it provides for Ethiopia students to study abroad. Dr. Young expressed hope that Ethiopia will eradicate poverty in the near future.
